Ricky Raiseem Whittington of Woodbridge was speeding on his 2016 Honda F650GS down Neabsco Mills Road as he approached the intersection with Smoke Court around 9:30 p.m., Prince William County police said. He crashed into a 31-year-old woman waiting at the light to make a left turn onto Smoke Court in her Lexus.
The force of the impact threw Whittington off his bike, and he crashed onto the pavement, police said. Paramedics attempted CPR on Whittington, but he died at the scene despite wearing a helmet. The driver of the Lexus suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Prince William County police ask anyone who saw the crash to contact investigators at 703-792-5123.
